Going Back to Malaysia ....

17-February-2007

Finally, it's the time to go back Malaysia for Chinese New Year celebration. The boys and I have been looking forward to this moment since 5 weeks before the departure date. Frankly speaking, there is nothing too special about the festive season, we do the same things every year, and I believe this year won't be any exceptionol. But having a longer break is the thing that we all freakingly thrill about. This year, we will be off for 2 weeks.

We were lucky this year. KS had used the staff FOC tickets to get 4 confirmed seats for us. That means we are not stand-by passengers like the year before. To avoid the congestion in the check-in counter, we went to the airport 1 hour earlier. After getting the boarding pass, we still have plenty of time to tour around the airport to see what's up there.

There was this striking-colourful corner, displaying the stuffs that best symbolize CNY. Despite of the airport was crowded with travellers, not many people paid attention to this corner of arts. In order to kill time, we just let the kids to spend as much time they like over there.

He just want to check if this beast got the sharp teeth?

Beautiful 'Tou-Hua'. People said if one walks around the flowers a few times, it will help to bring the luck to meet the Mr/Ms. Right. Well, ehhmmhhm..I don't need that. So, I don't bother to do that.

Tulip is my favourite flower. I just like it for no special reason.

Absolutely elegant...

Don't know why the airport authority put this giant oval shape metal stuff on the floor there? For good 'feng-shui' purpose? Somehow, it attracts the kids attention. Vincent seems to like it a lot, he asked me to take a photo for him.

Inside the plane, they play, eat, watch the video by themself....this 3.5 hr ride is no longer a long distance flight to me any more.

We sit near to the wings. Vincent refused to close the window along the whole journey. From time to time, I heard Vincent's high pitch voice, in delightfully tone : Look, there got smokes coming out from there. Everytime I hear of it, I feel scared. Thank god, it was a safe journey despite he saw smokes coming out from the engines a few times.
