Magic Egg

During the Easter holiday, we were given 2 small boxes as gift for spending enough in a shopping mall. It's called Magic Egg.
Well, this Magic Egg has nothing to do with Magic nor Egg...

Seems that a bean sprout would grow out from an egg case. The cutest thing is, some words had been carved on the bean itself.

Ok, the bean will sprout in about 6-9 days, said here.

Simple instruction on how to treat the bean.

There was an egg case inside the box. The boys couldn't wait to open the box and hold it in hand when they just got it. On the way back to car park, William had dropped his egg on the ground. And thus, the egg case broken. He was pretty upset about it. Anyway, I collected the bean and the sands, and consoled him that his bean would grow alright.
The bean is very big size if compare to normal beans.
"Thank You" was carved on Vincent's bean.
"Me too" was carved on William's bean.

This is the sands.

Since William's egg case had broken, I had to put the bean inside a plastic container.
7 days later, it grew up like this.

8 days later, it grew 2 cm longer, in just 1 day time.

10 days later, it already grew that tall. Amazing.

Leaves came out too.

2 weeks later, it had already grown up that tall. Totally amazing.
I want to see how far it can grow. So I changed to use a bigger flower pot, and added more soil inside it.

While William's bean grows in an amazing fast speed, Vincent's bean, on the contrary, still haven't sprouted. It's obvious by now, that the small egg case has restricted its growth. So, I decided to transfer it to a same plastic container. 3 days later, it started to sprout.

The moral behind all this : sometimes you think you lose, you win.

It's not cute anymore.
The 2 leaves had grown as big as my face, and the upper part start to clinch itself on the window grill naturally. End up, we had to transfer the plant to downstair playground several days ago. I haven't go and check this monster plant since then.

Well, SY, I don't know if William got anything out of this. It's just said by me, hehe..
